Luke . . .
- usually says his or her correctly in his little sentences
- has started saying everybody when there is a list of people (aka Everybody will play (this is after I told him that Miss Dianne, Ava and Daniel were coming over to play)
- then proceeded to say 'share toys'! "Yes!", mom said and hugged him in great appreciation
- said that Daddy's mom and dad are Grandma and Grandpa and I was Luke's mom. This is after I told him that Daddy was visiting his mom and dad and that is why he wasn't home
- knows his left and right foot/hands!
- is praying for more people now. It is random on a nightly basis, but usually will include Joy (his cousin), Anna (his cousin), Uncle Zeke, Miss Eva (neighbor and friend he sees almost daily), Daddy, Cassidy, Julianna (our housekeeper), Miss Patty (neighbor and friend he sees often), Shamu, Minnie Mouse, and Aunt Jennifer
- 'I want this' ...is his favorite sentence
- 'No' is his first response to almost everything...you have to hear noooo
- says he wants to go down the steps at school and wants to go first
- helps mom and dad make coffee, he now can count to five while scooping the coffee. Although, he does have a sense of humor and says 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. He thinks it is funny to re-order the numbers and name you someone he knows you are not
Cassidy is responding to her world. Oh boy, does she. Cassidy...
- is very picky about her food and who feeds it to her. She went through a phase of only wanting oatmeal, prunes, pears or sweet potatoes
- is now wanting water out of a sippy cup and won't eat until she gets some between bites. She also doesn't want to try to pick it up yet! She is the princess and thinks mom or grandmama should hold it for her.
- does not like it when mom leaves the room or turns to do something else in the same room (she lets you know by screaming)
- has belly laughs watching and playing with Luke. She loves her big brother. Luke was giving her her sippy cup and she just laughed and laughed that that was the greatest or when they are both getting pj's on she thinks that is fun too
- loves to fall asleep behind held by grandmama (thank goodness for grandmamas!!!)
- is on her belly scooting backwards and can move across the room! It won't be long before she is crawling.
- has a far reach and can usually get what she is wanting
Marty . . .
- I am so happy and thankful that my mom is here to help me while David is out of town for two weeks (work in LA, visiting his mom and dad and then back to work). It is wonderful to have her to talk to and some help.
- I miss David!!
- bought a new car out of necessity. Funny story...my car needed major repair
Respons to a dud car
