Big Boy Bed

Luke moved into his big, big boy bed! We converted his toddler bed into his full size bed. He was sooo excited. We decided not to put rails up to see what would happen. So far (about 3 weeks into this) he hasn't fallen out. YEAH! Of course, he kept his animal theme in his room with Shamu sleeping with him and his new lion and zebra pillows. He has a huge world map with all the animals that he loves (loves so much he keeps pulling it off the wall). I need to figure out what to do....

Luke also got a new bookcase for his room that he stores his books, animals and some of his toys. He is as proud of the news shelves as he is his bed. With his new bed, he isn't allowed to jump in the bed and so far so good! He is such a good listener to rules.

Cassidy had a change to her room too. She inherited the rocking chair. So her new bedtime routine includes a story. She gets a story (or two, three), singing and prayers. She loves to pick her books out each night! It is nice to have that special time with her.
