Tinker Toys and other favorites

For Luke's birthday, he received money from his Grandpa, Grandma and Auntie Mary. He picked out these Tinker Toys. He absolutely had to have them. He is quite the builder. He loves to build with legos, tracks for his trains, puzzles (did I mention that he is up to 100 piece puzzles)etc.
This jumbled mess of toys turned into a great race car. The tinker toys are also helping learn to follow directions. The instructions have numbered pictures for each step in making the desired structure. He chose the doon buggy for the first one he built with Daddy.

Cassidy enjoyed playing with them too and then hiding the pieces in the tunnel.

These monkeys are a hit. Both Cassidy and Luke, love them. Don't ask me why...but they do. If you are looking for an inexpensive toy. Here you go.

We have Barrel of Monkeys too and the kids play with it all. the. time. Seriously, I don't know what the monkey fascination is! Melody's favorite thing to do is to put them in the play kitchen and make "monkey soup"!
