Luke's 4 year old birthday party

Luke's party was at Southern Prep (his choice). Southern Prep is a gymnastics place with a huge foam pit and trampolines. He had a ton of fun and wanted ALL his friends there and that is what happened. He had 25 friends there with their parents, Grandmama, Aunt GG, Uncle Jason, Joy, Libby Grace and Miss Joy Joy. The best part of the party (to mom) was when the Happy Birthday song came. They turned out the lights, lit the candles, everyone sang happy birthday and Luke's face LIT up and he turned to me with the biggest grin ever. He really felt special! He is the most precious boy to both mommy and daddy and at that moment I know he felt it.
Luke at 4 years' old:
41 inches tall, 33 pounds
Loves being a big brother to Cassidy and Zane
Loves doing puzzles (still)...he is up to 100 piece kid and adult puzzles
Loves trains, Lightning McQueen and legos
Loves dinosaurs
Loves tinker toys
Loves to swim on his own (no swimmies or life vest) in the big pool and jump off the side
Does not love to stay in his room during quiet time
LOVES to wake up before 6am...we can't seem to break this habit for the life of us
Likes to play soccer
Loves to get smoothies with daddy
Misses daddy even more when he is on his work trips
Likes to tell you knock knock jokes
Learning all his letters with their sounds...he can sometimes tell you the letter a word starts with (like Jump)
Can write his name (K is hard, but he is learning)
Went to two weeks of bug camp and loved it (he asked to go back to camp and not school...I think it was because there were 10 boys in his class and it was themed about bugs)
Went to see his first two movies (Shrek 3 with Noah and Toy Story 3 with Grandmama)...loved them!
Starting to really play imaginatively with his toys
Big into rhyming...he always asks me if this rhymes (Most of the time he gets it correctly)
Loves games (Memory, Go Fish, Dominoes, Build shapes with shapes/blocks, Connect 4, Blokus, and Candy Land)
Starting to say "watch this" and show off
Loves to share with mom and dad
Learning to add and can spatially divide 6 into 3 for me and 3 for him (without counting)
His response to helping you is, "Yes, sure I can."
Loves to be a big helper (even to his sister :-))
