Each month the teachers gave us their schedule and curriculum for their Tuesday and Thursday classes. Each week had a themed bible verse and topic (examples: snow, colors, rain, eskimos, bugs, etc). Every month they had a show and tell day where they brought something from home to show their friends as well as a pizza lunch day.
The teachers made the cutest end of year school book for Luke that contained his stats and samples of artwork and class activities.
A couple of snapshots of their themed days: Left is him on dress up as a farmer day and right is his cookie decorated like him (eyes and hair) and bottom right is the kids as pilgrims!

Luke's 15 things from school this year:
1 - Mommy: What did you do today? Luke: ....silence. Mommy says did you play inside or out. Luke: outside.
2 - Mommy: Who is in your class? Luke: with a big grin, "Emma Jane, Anne Macon, Ava" grin goes away: "William, Jackson, Logan"
3 - Mommy: What is your favorite at school? Music or Creative Movement; Luke: Creative Movement
4 - Mommy: What did you eat today? Luke: mine peanut butter sandwich and fruit
5 - Mommy: Who did you play with today? Luke: William and Emma Jane
6 - Mommy: What did you play? Luke: trains
7 - Luke grew three inches yet lost one pound
8 - At the beginning of the year, the teachers didn't understand my comment on Luke's lively and all boy personality. Approximately one month into the year, they told me they saw Luke come alive.
9 - One day, a teacher said that Luke should wrestle with Daddy before coming to school to get some of his 'energy' out! :-)
10 - Luke got an accident report when he and another friend accidentally butted heads. Luke's nose bled. Of course, he did not want to sit still for it to stop bleeding and barely cried (if at all). After that, his nose bled for a week. It was that week where popsicles became very popular. Everytime he had a booboo, he needed a 'popical'.
11 - Luke: "We made it to school."
12 - On the way into the class, as soon as we made it to the sidewalk he would run to the classroom. Usually, he waited for me to catch up at the door and then run in (and not look back or say bye).
13 - On the last day of school, I helped with the party. A game we were playing was keeping bean bags on your head. He was the last to finish his cupcake icecream (yes, he ate every bite and was the slowest eater...:-)). So, he was the last to play the game. He was sad and asked for two friends to play. He always wants to play with his friends.
14 - Luke: I want to take the trains to school to share with my friends. Mom: That is very nice, but they need to stay home today.
15 - Luke: Can I take this to show and tell today? Mommy: Today isn't show and tell day. Luke: But, but, but I want to take this to my friends.
15b - So, while I'm waiting to pick up Luke, another mom and I are talking. She asks does Luke tell you of the 'happenings' at school. Of course, I say no. As you can tell based on the above notes, I get a few one word answers. Anyway, her little boy tells her who goes to time out. So, I asked....Luke went to time out for stomping in the mud puddles. :-)....yes, Luke loves the puddles. I also learned through another mom that rules at school include to not hug. Yes, that one is probably for Luke as he LOVES to hug. His hugs are so full of love that they can knock a kid down.
Luke had a great year and has grown alot over the year. The 2 year class was focused on socialization and classroom rules/skills. I think Luke mastered it!!!!!
